I just got back from seeing the Blair Witch sequel, and though I must admit I didnt catch the first, I was nonetheless caught off guard by this one.
I cant quite say that the story line was incredibly astounding or absolutely abolished or changed my entire aesthetic and outlook on life, it was worth the 5 bucks but no more. What did make the movie a bit more effectual was the appearance of two quite unique figures, a gorgeous red-haired green-eyes Wiccan and a stunning sexkitten goth. The writers should be hailed for these two characters, who could not have been more perfect, in the eyes of the Ambient Community. The Wiccan denounces just about every modern stereotype of witchcraft imaginable, and on several occasions launches into the bitch tiarade Im sure we’re all capable of, concerning this subject. This does come off as a little wierd at times, but definitely clarifys several things Im sure the GAP club has never had reason to doubt before. The actress who played the Gothic psychic-ish girl is absolutely one of the most incredible modern actresses I have ever seen. I admit this may be somewhat exadgerated by her other, non artistic features, but her performance and interpretation of the role is definitely a thing we can be proud of. It is true she launches into this sexkitten alter ego half the time, and flashes plenty of rock on’s and middle fingers, but the way she conducted herself throughout the movie, and her character in general, produced a genuinly intelligent and gothic vibe.
As for the movie itself, if youve got the time, go ahead and see it. If theres anyone else out there whose got a slight succeptability to media and weaker will of thier own, expect to be atleast mildly traumatized. I must admit my experiences within the physical Ambient Community have been close to nothing, and this may have served to amplify this experience, but I dont think I can offer a more precise review. In the end, we stand to gain alot from this movie, as far as public opinion is concerned, which in this day and age, is beyond priceless.
