Some information regarding the Book “Necronomicon” By H.P. Lovecraft
This book seems to have gained much popularity since I first discovered it almost 10 years ago.
The popularity of the book is not so much what distresses me as it is the belief that readers think this is real. H.P. Lovecraft wrote this book from scattered reminates of Sumarian/Babylonian Mythology. He did not himself even take it seriously it was writen as a work of Fiction There is even a movie if one cares to watch it entilted “Nacronomicon”
some have called it the Book of the Dead which is basicly a loose translation of Nacronomicon.
The Egyptian “Book of the Dead” is a more accurate definition of “Book of the Dead” as in it refers to a scripture writen for the deceased although that is not what The Egyptians called it.
There is also the Tiebeten book of the dead
At any rate The book Necronomicon has no practacel purpose if wanting to do Necromancy.
