Native American Magic

I am the direct descendant of a Sioux medicine woman and my sisters and I have inhereted abilities from her. Me being the oldest of the three decided to do some research on my own with what limited funds I have. I happened to come across a girl who is learning the things that my sisters and I have inherently. I asked her for help, guidance if you will, only to be met with ridicule. She told me that I was full of it. I most certainly don’t look very much like a Native American, having red hair, freckles, pale skin and hazel eyes but I am. Once upon a time I made the attempt to study Wicca and found it to be the wrong path to walk. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
