Escape

Escape Some of the best things in the world can hurt you. Even if you don’t want to see that fact. Most of the time, you can get away from this thing, whatever it may be. But some times, it can seem almost impossible to leave. As a group of young friends, only in their teens, discovered about a life that they were told about. A life that would only bring them death, blood, and sorrow. No matter how strong they seemed to be, it would soon break them. Only there determination and strong friendship would help them to get away from the life that they did not need to be in. The one choice that had once seemed so simple and so quick, would soon turn out to be the hardest for them to make.

They were not really normal teens. All from not really top notch families. Each one of them had been touched by evil’s hand in some way. Hearts broken, trust shattered, they always just relied on each other for comfort and support. No matter what the problem was, they were there for each other. All they had to do was ask. Then, they were told of a life that they were part of. The world of half-breeds. This world seemed good at first. When they came in, they took the world by storm. All the under lords new there names, and they knew to fear them. All the other clans and tribes knew that to mess with just one of them or one that they cared about, was to inflict all of hell’s wrath on them and any one else who crossed them. Legends. That was what they knew them as. Living legends. Together, nothing could beat them. Another thing they were known for, was to do things that others were scared to do. Each time some one said that they could not do something, they made it a point to let them know that they could in fact do that and more. The Lunar Tribe was known all across the land. No matter who you were, you had heard about them. Despite all the followers they had, they were despised by the councils, under lords, and every evil thing that they met that was so hell bent on the conquest of there world. The General, Elalune, as well as her husband, Stallune, and the leader, Lulu, worked together constantly to keep everyone in check. The other two in the tribe, Star Wing and Tigress, followed them. Any time one was in trouble, some one would always be there ready and willing to help and even lay down their life for that one, or the entire tribe. This loyalty and fearlessness was a prime example to others and admired. All they had to do was ask for help, from any one, they would have it. It seems like this tribe had everything. They could have taken over each council for each land with one word. Yet they didn’t. Anything they wanted could have been there’s, but they didn’t take it. The truth was, this tribe was not as perfect as they all saw. Each member went thru there own personal hell. It is this reason and others that they did what so many are to this day, still so scared to do, they hardly want to follow. They stood up and said no more. No more to all the death, blood, deception, and tears. No to all the restless nights and being captured and stuck into crystals and having to watch your family being destroyed. This tribe had suffered so much while in this world, they woke up each morning and just waited for what they knew would come. They went to sleep each night by the cries of battle, blood streaming onto them and off their hands. And the one haunting thought, would there loved ones come back to them alive, or would they have to go and retrieve there body off a battle field, or find it hanging from a ceiling or on a stone with the blood trails seeming to cry out in pain still. They had had enough. They had the courage to tell every council that they were out. Plus to go in front of so many people and invite them to join them. Some did. Others were to scared. Scared of the punishment from the council. The council them selves were such gullible old men that it gave the entire world a bad name. Yet so many people stayed in. They had it n there heads that that was their place and they had no choice but to stay in. Almost as if they were heart less beings being controlled by any one. And yet, small children born into this hellhole, had the courage to stand up and follow. There parents standing back and watching. The entire tribe saw them as all cowards to stand back and watch children just old enough to crawl, go to them and follow. A Note From The General: It may be short, but this was my life. I pray that no one will choose it. Though I have taught everyone or at least tried to teach them that you always have a choice. This is but a small taste of what I have seen. Along with every one else in this world. All I wish to tell you, is never give up. Don’t be afraid to stand up. You will be heard.
