Here

I don’t want this anymore,

But I don’t want it to stop.

So I swam in the ocean of sorrow,

Wanting everything I couldn’t have

In here.

I swam out far

And floated merrily along,

Letting the waves do what they wished

With my body and my soul, alone

Out there.

Can’t you see me going down?

Do you hear the piercing sound

Of my screams traveling for miles?

I guess you are deaf

Just like everyone else

Around here.
