You said you’d be there…
Be there when I cry,
Be there when I can’t survive Life,
Be there when Life offers me Pain and I take it,
Be there when the world turns its back on me,
Be there when you said you would.
But you’re not…
You’re not when my tears can’t stop falling,
You’re not when Life kills me with its existence,
You’re not when Pain corners me and I cant let go,
You’re not when you’re gone and I have no one else to turn to.
You’re not when I need you.
So I’ll cope…
I’ll cope with crying invisible tears for no one to see,
I’ll cope with Life till Death comes for me,
I’ll cope with Pain following me wherever I go,
I’ll cope with talking to the invisible person that promised to be there,
I’ll cope with your broken promises.
But until you’re here…
‘Till you’re here I’ll hold in the tears,
‘Till you’re here I’ll live everyday to the fullest,
‘Till you’re here I’ll welcome Pain,
‘Till you’re here I’ll hold the hugs and smiles for you,
‘Till you’re here I’ll keep my promise to live.
I’ll wait for…
For the tears to spill out,
For a miracle to happen,
For when Life gives me Love,
For the shadow of the person who cared,
For the person that said they’ll be there.
And when you’re here…
I’ll cry because you weren’t there,
nI’ll wait for Solitude to come back,
I’ll appreciate the Love you gave me,
I’ll give every treasured hug and smile to you,
I’ll be there for you, every step of the way.
