The Wilderness Fellow

The wind blew strong through the leaves of a willow, the ground soft and moist from the recent storm the area had gone through. The moon was in a crescent, clouds remained in the sky, though not big ones. The air had a certain smell to it… The smell of flesh rotting… Though that was common in the woods because their could be a carcass rotting nearby.

Little Matthew made his way through the woods on his way home. He had been enjoying a late night dip in the river. He lived only a mile from it, he visited it every chance he got. He had lost his virginity their. It was his favorite place to be. He had moved into the cabin that his parents had never visited. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed the abslute feeling of being a man in the woods. He had just graduated from High School. His parents gave him anything he wanted, he was a spoiled rich kid, though he never admitted that to himself, he liked challenges, and living in the woods was a good challenge. He could barely see where he was going, he thanked god he had brought his flashlight. As he was walking through he noticed something moving, leaves on the ground shifting nearby. He immediately investigated, he found that it was only a snake, red, black, and yellow. He remembered that a certain type was poisonous but could not remember the rhyme. Was it red touching black that was poisonous? He decided not to bother the snake and took off running towards home.

When he reached home he found that he had been robbed, the phone and power lines cut, and his car stolen. He decided to get some rest and hike up to the highway in the morning. He would flag a car down an ask for a ride. He shut the door and noticed that the lock was broken, so he barred the door as best he could. TBC. Give me Tips people, this is my first story.
