Why do people say “A fate worse than Death?”
Death is the main thing we fear.
Is thereason some dread their birthdays?
They realize that Death is closer by a year.
People try to be catious.
Thy try to escape their fate
They try to hide their fear.
They know it will come on any date.
People run like frightened mice.
They try to evade Death.
Don’t the fools understand?
It can come as quick as a breath.
I am not afraid of Death.
I myself welcome it.
Why do people say this world is beautiful.
I only see the Hell of it.
I know that Death is coming for me.
I’ll just have to be patient.
And when that time comes,
I’ll be sitting here, waiting.
And when that day arrives,
and Death says my time has come.
I’ll stand, look him in the eyes and ask
“What took you so long?”
