ok this i dont get… people using and taking “faggot” as an insult… thats really offensive, especially to me. because the people who are using it as terms of an insult are implying that gay people are stupid, because they are basically instead of calling someone a dumbass or stupid or an idiot or something they call them gay or a faggot or whathave you…
and that is offensive, not only is it rude to use the word faggot in reference to a homosexual person but its even worse to use it to insult someone… it makes me mad to see people doing that. i wouldnt really expect that from most people on this site, because they should be more open to other people since they are shunned from most of society or whatever you want to call it… and anyways if you are the one being called a faggot you shouldnt really take it that bad, because the person who is saying that is an ignorant narrow-minded person who is probably a homo-phobic… and some day they are going to get there ass kicked

every post should have a point. Youve just wasted my valuable time, next time think of something better to write about like how you moms an abusive druggie or how your dad was castrated by a rabid monkey at the age of 12.. im not trying to be mean, but dont post shit thats not worth reading.

Judging by that post, I’m assuming ur gay galaxy, which is fine, i was just wondering. Personally, I think any kind of name calling is pathetic, especially over the net. Whats the point of insulting someone u don’t know, or will never meet?? seems like a waste of time to me. It’s cool u expressed yur opinion though, and just ignore ppl who have nothing better to do then criticize others.

Humans may be the most primitive species on this planet. They have this insane urge to scream out, “I’M BETTER THAN YOU!!!” or something to that extent. Namecalling is just a stupid way to make other people feel like shit, and if you look through this site you can see the results. I’ve been called “faggot” a fair few times just cuz I’m not a freakin’ slut and don’t wanna go out with some sleazy guy who probably has syphilis… But on the bright side, he did get his ass kicked. <(^^)>

well im glad to see some people get the point of my post… and im not fully gay but i am bisexual, and even if i wasnt that i would still have the same veiws because i am friends with gay people and i know that they are just as good nice honest people, or better than the rest, and i have been made fun of for my preference

This was an interesting post to put up. Just because I’ve bitched at a hell of a lot of people for throwing around the term faggot, or dike. And your right about getting your ass kicked, cause if you say that to the right person you sure aren’t leaving without at least a mark on your skin to remind you.

I do agree with with the point you’re making, galaxy, I am bisexual also, and I take great offense to people discriminating against gay people, especially when they will not do so against me.
I think people that use the term “faggot” should look back at where this term originated from and what it means.
But also, when I call someone a fag, pussy, pansy etc, I am not doing it to imply that he is gay, but as an insult to his manhood, tho it is sadly related to homosexual males.

I just finished ear bashing by brother for calling someone we both hate, a faggot when talking about him, because I totally agree that it’s an insult to homosexuals everywhere. I am completely heterosexual, but I have a few homosexual friends and I think they’re some of the greatest people I know. Much more fun to be with than most of my other friends, and more laid back. I admire them so much because they don’t let other people’s ignorance get to them, I don’t think I could have standed it if I was in their position. Good on you for voicing your oppinion, more people should be so honest. (And it definately wasn’t a “pointless… waste of time” post!) :p
