Lost in the dark looking for my shadow
darkness lingers,coldness fallows
the light is scared,trying to hide
i will forever search, nothing to find
this shadow has called to me
from the darkness before
it’s voice started fading
now it calls no more
left me to linger afraid of the dark
but searching for a clue of where my shadow larks
peeling away my skin and tearing my heart
is how it escaped, broke me apart
Left me tattered, hallow inside
I’ll search for my shadow that I’m desperate to find
