Deadly Apologies II

II-
A vampire appeared in front of her. Ari stumbled back a few steps. The vampire introduced himself, “I am Organto, brother of Averick. I am sure you have heard of him, haven’t you Ari?” Ari quickly stated, “Yes, I have. Organto, I have heard of you too, it such a pleasure to finally meet the brother of the man I love so very much.”

“Ah…so it’s true.” Organto said thankfully. Organto circled Ari a few times, they both knew who had to speak next, and what they had to say, in order for Averick and Ari to not only see eachother again, but actually be able to be with eachother. Ari started to speak, hesitating, “I… I will change to be with Averick. Please, let us do it as soon as possible. “Very well then.” Organto commented.
Organto and Ari left the school, and went to Organto’s house, they would both be safe there. Organto took Ari by her waist, moved her hair, exposing her neck. Then he said “Just hold still” Ari nodded, and closed her eyes, not knowing whether to expect a painfull feeling, or a feeling that actually felt good. Organto’s fangs all of a sudden peirced in her skin, not killing her, but transforming her. He pulled away, and laid her on the couch. Ari went unconcious, and didn’t wake up until midnight.
“What where am I? What happened?”questioned Ari. “You are now a vampire, Ari. We must change your name though, It shall be Rykas” Organto said firmly. “Hmm… Rykas, It’s interesting, I like it.” Rykas said faintly.
“Ah… you are weak, you need to feed. What about the lovely lady that adopted you?” Organto mentioned. “No! I couldn’t, just because we haven’t been close, doesn’t mean I can kill her!” Rykas started saying, but was interupted. “She is going to have everyone searching for you, when you don’t go back to your house, you won’t only put yourself in danger, you’ll put all the immortals in danger.” Organto said worridly. “Will she be better off killed by me? Or should I take the risk of being found by the useless humans that I detest so very much?” Rykas asked outloud, but was asking herself.
“I suppose she’ll be better off dead, she has nothing to live for now. She’ll just be a widow who grows old and lonely. I also have much to live for, and if I don’t feed I will die.”Rykas started to answer her own questions. “Good choice, we will have to leave now though. The sun is about to rise, and soon she’ll wake up, and so will all the neighbors, and we might be seen. Since you are weak, your powers aren’t working well, so you can’t disapear, or use any other powers to help you not be seen.” Organto said less worried.
Organto had to teleport them both back to Rykas’s house. They landed in her room. Rykas quietly creeped to where Theresa slept. “I’m sorry, this is for the best, the best for everyone… but just hold still.” Rykas whispered in Theresa’s ear.
You could hear a slight popping noise, of Rykas’s fangs going into Theresa’s skin. “Mmm…” mumbled Rykas. Minutes later Rykas pulled away. “That was delicious, I could feel life flowing into me.” said Rykas. ”
“What are you going to do with her body?” questioned Organto. “You teleport yourself back, I’ll teleport Theresa and I back. We are going to your house, it’ll be safer there.” Rykas answered the question. “What are you going to do with her?” asked Organto. “We’ll burn her body, then we’ll just throw her ashes somewhere outside.” Rykas answered. Organto snickers evily, and says, “Ah… your clever, I like that. It’s no wonder Averick is in love with you.” “Oh, I just can’t wait to see him again!” exclaimed Rykas.
“I’m going to go to sleep for half an hour. I didn’t get much sleep last night. I suggest you do the same, before we head out into the town and meet Averick.” suggested Organto. “Alright, but first, I’m in the mood to write, I’ll only be 2 minutes.” stated Rykas. “Hmm… interesting, well hurry up. You don’t want to fall asleep on Averick, and make him think that he is boring you.” Organto commented. “Haha, don’t worry, the sooner I start, the sooner I’ll go to sleep.” said Rykas. Organto nodded and dozed off.
Rykas started to write in her notebook. Killing Theresa inspired her to brew up a poem. She somewhat felt guilty, but then persuaded herself that there was nothing wrong with that, she thought that it would have been worse leaving her alive, and being in danger. The poem that Rykas wrote in her note book was titled ‘Deadly Apologies’.
When I hunted and I killed
I always said “Just hold still”
When you passed I saw a tear,
but more then that I saw your fear.

Everynight you went to sleep,
I could always hear you weep.
I could feel the darkness near,
I knew the wind could slightly hear.

I said “I’m sorry”, Then I left.
I killed too much, I did my best.
I felt the knife go through your chest,
With that one simple puncture, poke,
That day, you never woke.

Therefore now, I never speak,
Everyday I grow weak,
I’ll always remember, all our analogies,
with all my sincere Deadly Apologies.
Rykas finally decided to follow Organto’s advice, and go to sleep. Organto was right, she didn’t want to start falling asleep on Averick, and make him think that he was boring her. Soon enough, Rykas fell asleep on the couch in Organto’s living room.
