Unable to see through this emptiness
Desperatly stretching the time of lonliness
Kept in a tortured past
Knowing each day was like the last
Needing to escape my self-prison
Somehow the key has been lost or hidden
Fear still tightens by breath
Afraid to take those hollow steps
To a path no longer taken
