Best Horror Films of 2015?

Let’s see what we’ve got here. How on the mark is Rolling Stone magazine with their list? Did they nail it or screw the pooch? With theirs being a “normal,” i.e. mainstream publication, I am skeptical right out the gate. But let us not jump to conclusions. Shall we peruse their compilation and compare it to our own? (And yes, I am practicing the royal habit of referring to myself as a “we” here, since I’m pretty sure the voices in my head all originate therein and are not psychic projections sent to me by you, my loyal readership.) So, the movies, then.

There are a few of their selections I still haven’t seen, so I must of necessity withhold comment on them. Of those I have seen, CRIMSON PEAK appears simultaneously on MY list of the year’s best, certainly, as does GOODNIGHT, MOMMY, but it doesn’t rank quite so high on my compilation. Their number one would also be my number one, the exquisite IT FOLLOWS. But where in their considerations is INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 3? Where is KRAMPUS? Where, as a possible contender, is UNFRIENDED? Where is GREEN INFERNO?

Okay, yes, I’m totally kidding about that last one.
