Okay by now everyone has seen ‘The Grudge,’ so I can understand the phobia and cultural stigma when it comes to a place where someone has died in Japan, but now that’s all changing.  Japan has suffered incredibly since the nuclear reactor was damaged in the earthquake, not only loss of life and property, but I suspect their economy has taken a huge hit pushing people past their comfort zones just to survive.  One man, the article calls him "Yamada" has had to make this choice and has no regrets.  He loves his Tokyo apartment, and pays half the rent because the previous tenant didn’t make it out alive.  Would you live in a home where someone died before you moved in?
