Do You Like Dabbling in the Unknown? Check Out OuijaCon 2015!

Come celebrate the history and legends of the Ouija board with some of the world’s foremost authorities on the subject.”

Tickets are still on sale for the event, which takes place April 23rd through the 25th; basically, most of this coming weekend. Ouija boards are a lot of fun, it’s a great way to weed out your most neurotic friends at an early age. As for the comment about “dabbling” goes, everyone seems to say that about the use of Ouija boards in films, don’t they? “You’re dabbling, be warned! Bwahaha!” Dude. This isn’t exactly a circle of salt and a bunch of teenagers sacrificing a lamb. It’s a board game you can buy at Walmart.

I would go to a convention or conference, I should say, if only to hear all the uber weird stories everyone is going to tell. I initially followed a link here from exactly that sort of blog post; a guy was talking about how his mom believed in lots of supernatural ghost-y stuff and so they played Ouija with a demon, and our blogger was possessed as a result, for part of his childhood. My mom never let us have a Ouija board in the house, she used to tell crazy stories too, but we chalked that up to her being a meth addict and let that part slide. I recommend checking it out, whether you’re a believer or not, a lot of cool stuff is going to be there.
