a poem with out a name

I slit my wrist to take away the pain,

Only to get more from it.

I close myself in to catch my breath,

Just to lose more of it.

I open my mouth to call aloud,

Only to have it shut.

I rub my eyes to clear my vision,

Just to have it blur.

I jump so I may fly away,

Only to fall to the ground.

I reach up high so I may grow,

Just to get knocked down.

Then I try to escape,

Only to be locked away.

Now I kill myself to be free,

Just to be trapped for eternity.
