A black rose
Blooms from the remains of the rest
While being downsized by the world
Least compared to the best
Different color, is its only flaw
An outsider glances
And views it with awe.
See the world for what it is
A rock lost in a puddle
Not knowing how deep
Falling in the quicksand
While white knights
In white sheet armor come to right us.
Fall back in line
Conform to the normality
Wait for it to hit
A smack back to reality
Keep your beliefs
For religion is sacred
If you truly believe
The lost ones won’t have bled.
Grow from the remains
Become the strength in all
Save the redness for the black
Darkness isn’t bleak
The darkness fills with beauty
Yet it survives off the weak…
