The rain begins to fall again The rain, the only constant in my life Wind reaches my ears, mourning softly
City of Cold light
Darkness descends. Night regains its claim as I walk past gates. Its screams its defiance as it is being closed.
Waking
Light gives in to the darkness. The sun is about to set. Dusk falls and night encroaches like a thing borne out of fevered nightmares. I look towards the darkening sky gathering the last of the dying light. I see myself standing upon a deserted street– paper and dust being carried away by the wind.
My lady, my mistress
Dusk descends. The last of the dying light fade Consumed by the ravenous night While Shadows fade
Under a crescent mon
A sharp cry as a bat searches for prey. The moon in full wane, a crescent of ivory and silver stabbed into the heart of a starless ebon sky.
