Be as I should be

Have your parents ever given you the half of the speech, you’re not doing good enough, not fullfilling your full potential? perhaps I have figured alittle of that out now that I have examined the details and the expressions. Basically this is the thesis.

Nothing they did in their life was enough to fullfill what they truly wanted, so when it comes to their children, they want for them what they couldn’t have, and when they think that you aren’t giving them the satisfication of having what they couldn’t then they are angry to see another one ‘fail’ (persay) basically they didn’t succeed where they wanted to so you are the second chance, they have to see you do it. See you bring into this world the knowledge they couldn’t.

Or perhaps it’s merely they want to see you do better? -shrugs-

either way, be as you should be, not as they should have been.

  1. I can’t stand people who try to live through others, especially parents trying to live through their children. You would think they’d have learned a different lesson–they didn’t get what they wanted, shouldn’t their children get what their children want? But they just don’t see it that way. *sigh*
