Born Again

And life lingers on
An endless cycle of false hopes and broken minds,
Truths entangled within a web of deceit and lies.
Lost soul, searching for clarity,

Starving mind, sadly misguided.
You seek redemption for your humanity,
Salvation from the product of your own misconceptions,
Through none other than an image,
Your ideal, you dream,
Your God is a Fraud.
Codependency on an institution,
An organized cult of hipocracy and fear.
Morality taught by the book,
Sunday smiles and superficial faith-
Can you still be labeled a proud martyr,
And remain truthful to yourself?
