Yes, those dreadful cookies seem to be disappearing from you. I don’t know why but it happens to me too. I think that it was a result of starting the site on a different domain, and then moving it to this one.

Unfortunately, if that is true.. I have no idea how to fix the problem. An alternative ::cringes:: would be to start all over. I would need to take the site down temporarily and reinstall everything. Then try my best to import all the stories and comments.

The ultimate decisions however, is yours! So, please.. comment.

I'm nude, want to see?

  1. I don’t like to see you cringe Sire:) But do whatever you need to do. I am not going anywhere. A vacation perhaps but not far:) I don’t have the problem others seem to be experiencing so whatever is best for the masses:)

  2. The cookie problem is more annoying than anything, dearling. I usually just refresh the front page and log back in. And, I’ve taken to posting a small signature so people know it’s me. ::grins::

  3. Yeah, don’t take it all down – good grief, that’s too much work. I’d rather make jokes about the Cookie Monster than have to see this site rebuilt from scratch. Maybe you could make a cute little graphic – the Cookie Monster could become this site’s new mascot or something…if that isn’t too disgustingly cute…

  4. Did some more testing this evening and may have found out some more about the cookies to fix it someday. Hopefully so.

Meanwhile, you might find that there are a few more themes to choose from. One in particular for those who really prefer the darkest sites – BlackRoad theme. Give it a try.

  6. I havent really had that much of a problem. It only happens once in a while. In fact, I havent experienced anything over the past couple of days in relation to being logged out by the cookie thingy.

I think that’s because we only have biscuits here, not cookies. Is there a biscuit monster? I hope not. (heh heh)

  7. If it’s a biscuit monster, it better not come near the Hobnobs. MINE! MINE! ALL MINE! mwah hah hah hah….seriously, it’s one of the few food items with any chocolate in it that doesn’t automatically give me migraines…

  8. Late comment:
I haven’t had that much trouble with anything really. But do what you gotta do…

  9. Well, ok.
If you don’t have to Login again every day or two (or even more frequently) for the system to recognize you.. please list what Browser and Operating System you are using.

I am using Windows 2000 and IE 5.5.
I must login after a minute or two usually, if I want the system to remember me.
