Why did it have to be this way? Why do I feel this way for her? I can’t possibly love her… Is it because I am jealous of Averick? Is it because he has something so precious, and he gets to share something so valuable, with someone that I can’t share that with? Pondering on for hours, Organto finally comes up with an answer to all his thoughts. Why didn’t I see this before?
Why didn’t I realize… I…I’m…gay. Averick has someone that loves him, and he loves her back, I don’t have that. I’m not attracted to Rykas at all, I haven’t been attracted to any lady… since, since… Tashalyn.
This is too much for me, remembering Tashalyn, realizing that I have been homosexual all this time, with out any knowing of it. I… I can’t take it. I have to go back to Lazareins’ territory. I must find Tashalyn, and tell her how I really feel, and I have to apologize.
As the sun rises, Rykas cautiously walks out of her room, whispering for someone, hoping that one of them are awake. She hears papers rustling in Organto’s room. “Organto?” she whispers questionally. When there is no answer, she walks towards the door, then it opens. “Rykas! What are you doing up?” Organto asks, “I…I woke up, and heard noises from your…” Rykas starts to say, but gets cut off. “Nevermind, I don’t care. Just go back to sleep, don’t mention any of this to Averick. I might be back at a later time.”
Rykas stands there, with the least expression, you could possibly get out of any living thing. Averick starts moving around in his room, Organto gave a sharp look at the door handle, as he found it jiggling. The door opens, as Averick walks out. Averick walks over to Rykas, and says, “Aren’t you going to get ready? You don’t expect me to just sit here, and wait for Organto to return, then find out too late that something terrible has happened. Organto doesn’t leave as he just did without informing me, something is wrong, and I am going to find out, and you are comming along.”
