Deep down

I did it because I wanted to know
What it felt like to be you
Know what it felt like to have them stare
And try like hell not to care

I did it because I wanted to know
What it felt like to be you
Know what it felt like to have them stare
And try like hell not to care
They can laugh and they can stare
Just don’t cry because you don’t have to care
What they don’t know is you have wings
When you feel you don’t belong
Spread your wings and fly away
Sing to me your angel song.
Be yourself no matter what they say
Its not your fault your lifes this way
So let them point and let them stare
Because you know when you call ill be there
I know you don’t have much time
But what is time anyway?
A clock with numbers?
For us they don’t seem to stand still
But for you they will
When you find they leave you behind
Search deep down in your heart its me you’ll find
When you feel its time to go
Ill wish and wish it weren’t so
But when I search deep down I know it’s you ill find
I know it’s ok to let them point and let them stare
Because I know when I call you’ll be there.
