Drive You Down

Drive you down

Your feet sink into the ground

Chains around your helpless mind

This place just hates your kind

Drive you down

When nobody’s around

Torment your soul

They force you to lose control

Drive you down

While nobody utters a sound

Watching them break you

Knowing there’s nothing anyone can do

Drive you down

When safety is nowhere to be found

And the eyes are turned away

They don’t know the power of what they say

Drive you down

It’s your soul they never fail to pound

Finally you’ve had enough

So your life you decide to snuff

Drive you down

Counting the days since you were drowned

In a pool of your own sorrow

And you decided to forget your tomorrow.
