A satin voice ran over your sleeping body, awaking you from that never ending dream called life. Deep into my realm I pulled you and there was no return for those who didn’t wish to fall asleep again.
You found me I was lying down on a tilted tombstone, waiting for the sky to take me alive as lightning was pouring down on a naked ground. In the storm my love has flow away and through your decaying hope it has found its rest. Your eyes were the eyes of a martyr and knowing this I wouldn’t have taken control. Fell to my knees for an entity that’s not really there. Would you have dared to gaze into a dead mistress of the night’s eyes as her spirit flew away? Would you have dared put your hands on her stripped body? Stripped of its pride, stripped of its emotions stripped of its love… I was mad for you, I was cynical. But you had known this all the long, had won my mind all this time. Through age itself I found myself losing my innocence, through society I lost my virginity. These are the ways that life had pronounced for us. Shaking hands lied on my shoulders and curious eyes searched my soul. Picked up by the force of coincidental encounters, picked up by the force of destiny. It mattered not as I was lying in your arms ready to vanish in a silent black and white dream. A drop of rain pierced my skin just as your love had pierced my numbness. But was it truly a drop of rain or was it in fact a wounded man’s tear?A red sky for those who chose the path of death and a black one for those the path of the goth. Could you feel it flowing through my naked body, could you feel death roaring through my veins as a blood river would overflow and drown a few uneasy souls? You had delicately lowered me unto the ground under a dying tree where once before my ancestors had been hung. An act that meant far too much for the poor recollection of memories I so carefully kept. You realised that I had both eyes open so you kneeled down beside me and stroke my thoughts as if they were your own. The murmurs of eternity slipped through rain that stood still as you ate away your own emotions. And so gently you laid your head on my breast and you coughed out your life energy, and gave up all resistance to this world. Stunning was the thunder as your heart exploded in my arms. Through death and back I could always feel you close and as your shallow body lied on me I could still feel a bit of warmth in you. The link between the world of the living and the world of the dead are non existent in the world we have created. The flowers of time could always rot in this place, but my love for you, for your spirit, for your inert body could always last forever. I am eternally yours…
