For love she waits….

Her name I will not say. Her pain, I will not name. But on a mountain overlooking the ocean, with the moonlight kissing the waves…she waits.

She waits for her love. The one she cannot name. She didn’t even really like heights, but there was something about this place that drew her to it.

She could feel it in her heart, that one day…her love would find her there and take her away from all this pain, all this torture of her heart. For 3 years she had waited on top of that very mountain, looking at that same beautful ocean….just….waiting. She even named this love of hers…Adrian…She sang to him in the moonlight, as though he were there. She danced with him in the rain…and cried with him through her pain.

One night, as she was climbing to her moutain top. She saw him…just as she had imagined him..long black hair…midnight blue eyes..the deepest she’d ever seen…Adrian looked as though the darkness of night, and the beauty of the sunrise, had made him. She stood right where she was…stunned to see him somewhere other than her dreams. She said, ” Ohh I’ve waited for you soo long Adrian!” He looked confused ” How did you know my name??!?” he said. “I’ve dreamed of you, longed for you, lived for you!” He blinked….”I’ve seen you before! I know that voice…” Smiling he held out his arms to her. As she was just about to touch him…she was gone…

Adrian awoke in his bed, covered in sweat…he looked out his window to see the moonlight kissing the waves on the ocean…He wondered why he was the only one the poor lady haunted. She had lost her husband…Adrian McCoy many years ago, and the whispers amoungst the towns people were found to be true…They said that on the mountain she waits…For love….she waits.
