As the sun may rise and set,
And light the land so bright.
Strength is that which cannot be,
Present in the light.
As the sun may rise and set,
And light the land so bright.
Strength is that which cannot be,
Present in the light.
Each day begins a new,
To awake her from her sleep.
The trials ahead she cannot fear,
As the breakdown her soul deep.
Mocked and used by those who rule,
By societies popular, wicked fist.
Freak she’s called with all distain,
The name just begins the list.
Her colored hair as raven black,
And clothes of plaid and chains.
Music deep within her heart,
Her self-reliance reigns.
Mocked by those who cluster large,
And torment those who don’t.
Driving deep the nails of pain,
Underneath her leather coat.
Shrugging the assaults with a grin,
She curses them every day.
Only ‘til the dusk, she must survive,
She always must find a way.
As the sun shall descend deep;
Her collective now will grow.
And with her friends returns the strength,
From the nightfall know.
Varied spirits of darkness call,
Both man and woman stand.
With blackened nails and spiked belts,
Have formed to lend a hand.
Led by this shadowed soul,
Her boots now firm to ground.
As her razor nails shall dig deep,
Shall she never make a sound.
The bladed marks across her back,
Serve to warm all near.
Cause of pain and loss of life,
Is something she shall not fear.
The purple ribbon held so snug,
Around this angel’s neck.
Has defined her journey with those who love,
To join her in this sect.
Her pale white skin, and ruby lips,
Quiet the hearts of men.
Though no love yet does she want,
To await too long for sin.
The mocking end and stars are out,
She revels in her crew.
As a night of evil lies ahead,
And tempting wonders shall ensue.
As by day, she is so weak,
The sun has sapped her heart.
But as the sky shall crimson deep,
Her shell will fall apart.
This midnight maiden, pale and fair,
The stars shall give her might.
And leave her blades as unopposed,
In her fortress…….night…
