Here’s another poem, called “William Blake”

In the darkest stain of ink black night
What do you see?
What do you see?
What creeping things come to you my love?
What demons do you keep from me?

We are poisoned,
Every one,
By tiny fears
Inseperable
From our minds eye
Such chill tears
Must sometimes let
Our horrors flow
But strength is gained from those we love,
And I would that you gain strength from me
To face each demon
One by one
And force them under
Lock and key
For nothing lasts forever
Even darkness must recede
To make way for the morning
So feared by the Nightbreed
And for every grain of evil
There is a grain of good
And twice as much in this world
To warm, than chill, the blood.

So in the darkest stain of ink black night
What do you see?
What do you see?
What demons come to you my love?
What evil do you keep from me?

We all have the capacity for good and evil thoughts… more of my ponderings at:
