I pose a question to the General Darkness clan here….well its more of a part question , part observation really. Ive noticed some talk not only here but actual entire websites divoted to Hitler. To be honest though (this may fuel a fire more than actually serve any purpose) , but isnt that for the lack of a better an oxymoron so to speak though?
Ill admit my knowledge of the man is limited to books or programs on tv or movies, but i would think if this man still was alive, the very idea of the internet, a place for mass communication and creative ideas and free speech would of been something he would have never had let come to fruit? So just from my ration of thought, its because the world was able to overcome such a person in history, people are able to type on a computer at home or work and voice thier ideas on the love or hate of such a person…..So isnt it something to think about the next time you see a posted message from someone talking so highly of a person , who would have never let that person talk freely to the world like they are if they were alive? …..i dunno……seems strange to me, but i couldnt help but ask……
personally, i think it doesn’t matter whether a person dedicates their website to Hitler or not…Thing is to actually just take it as it come.

And if those who speak freely of a man that would not have allowed it, i beg to differ. Hitler was really really high on propaganda (sorry for the spelling mistake), and so if the people in question would talk about hitler in a positive way, he would not have opposed it. If they had lowered him, then he would have destroyed him, i agree. Believe it or not, Hitler was for television, movies,cartoons even…as long as it served him well. Many have been created for the Führer.

Was it true his mother died of an illness and her doctor was Jewish, and because the doctor could not save her and Adolf loved his mother very dearly, he kind of snapped? hitler was by far one of the most amazing leaders that ever was. i am not a hitler supporter nor am i racist. i just have a lot of respect for any one person who can talk an entire nation into slaughtering half of the citizens there because his mother died while under the care of a jewish doctor.
imagine what he could have done. even america was pulled into his anti-sematic culture of appeasement. i don’t agree with his ideals, but i have great respect for his power.

Everyone hated Jews back in Hitler’s day. Henry Ford got the German Cross for it. Jew’s were hated and depsied by all. The fact that in todays society, we look upon racists with disgust, doesn’t mean Hitler was so differn’t, or evil. He was just th biggest case! Hitler was a magnificent ruler, he brought Germany out of depression, and nearly into world domination. But his ideal’s brought him down. Do we look upon Napolean as some tyrannical racist? No, we look to him as a powerful conquerer, and leader. But since Hitler was a racist, we look to him as a foul tyrant.
I am no a racist, but I do think Hitler was an amazing man, as much as I think Henry Ford is, even though he ws a racist too.

Yeah see i never really knew that much about him but it always seemed to me that if I was a leader i would fear people like the ones on the internet, because yes while some might support my cause in the beginning, they are educated and have the ability to communicate with the outside world and form thier own ideas…where as if i stayed with the poor masses who only wanted to prosper and the majority were uneducated, i could inspire them…..i only came up with this after i read something Rommel said….he said while Hitler loved him, he all too often feared if they succeeded, Hitler would kill him for fear of Rommel trying to take his place as leader….but then again maybe this is why we see people like saddam and bin ladden still being able to inspire…..the uneducated masses with no outside connection…

Hitler despised the Jewish community, because he was a veteran of WW1 and when he returned to German society, he found work hard to gain, and saw the Jews slowly but surely, where financially taking over the Country he so dearly grew to admire. Childhood experiences may have added to his furiotic fascism, but these were the main reasons.

Actually, before I read your recommended book, I sourced my views on my digestion of Mein Kampf, by Adolf Hitler, and I Studied Adolf Hitler in Upper School. Your book may contain more information, but even the title sounds biased. I didn’t intend to portrait hostility towards you, I just thought my lecturer would have more accurately based comments, than someone who I’ve never met, and never seen. sorry.
