To you, “normal” one
I am willing to lend an ear
And to your fooling sun
I will succumb with no fear
I will listen to your stubborn believes
Might as well leave a place to doubt
And watch my reason as it leaves
Erased by your clichés as they sprout
I am willing to take your hand
And follow your steps like a robot
Watch all my dreams fade in the sand
And for a selfish success only plot
But if ever, I invite you in
To a realm of darkest misery
Will you consent to taste my sin?
Or choose to desert this leper me
Will you welcome in rivers of tears?
Or choose to wear a mask and deceive?
Will you follow me and defy your fears?
Or insist on the futilities you must achieve?
And what might the cause of refusal be?
Dread of all change and of the dark?
Or worry over reputation and society?
May be just the thought of a life so stark?
But do you know, dear “normal”,
That you have grown to live a lie?
And when revealed you will falter
Like a dead raven from the sky…
