Natural Urge

As the new light displaces the shadow,
All that I had hidden from, is reborn,
More blunt has it now become,
The faster it is for me to outrun.

A natural urge overcomes it all,
Freedom, its both sides of the coin,
To fight on or to bring it to a standstill,
Neither one a joy, seemingly a chore.

My reality, wrought upon myself,
The fantasy, vanished, chipped away,
Its all I breathe and all I see,
Which dark journey will allow,
Me to be free?
