Slaughter of Innocence

A life defined not by health but pain,
An existence based on loss, not gain,
Two souls fearing their bond not their rift,
The flames of ignorance and pride burning our gift.

This horrid seed inside for the masses to see,
Twisting, churning, roiling inside of me,
Becoming blackened and charred, my soul,
By the flame that replaces with cold,
The warpth of affection it stole.
Released to itself, my mind, darkness untold,
Pain and suffering upon others shall fall,
By the fist and sword of my gall.

The fury of my wrath, upon others shall pass,
As the lambs are led to be slaughtered in mass.
Brutality awakened, primal urges unveiled,
A desire to plunge the steel into pitiful meat,
Match your suffering with the man upon the cross nailed,
And bathe in the lust of the bloodied heat.
Sever the flesh and scar the bone,
Till punctured and broken the soul is shown.

The final convulsing beat of your heart in my hand,
Returning dust unto dust and sand unto sand.
Opened and carved, your body shall lie before me,
You, that held youself so high, wrought so low,
Things now apart of you, things from which you used to flee,
Your weaknesses and flaws, torn open and exploited, shall flow.
Piece by putrid piece, every strand of diseased beast,
All of your puss oozing flesh shall be given for the hound’s feast.

Perhaps you will be blinded by your blood, or look to the sky,
Against my grasp on your lungs you struggle to utter your dying cry,
I shall force the blade deeper into and finally through,
You will come to know, the tool of your death was created by you.
