Labeling is a part of life. Whether we like it or not. Even if some of us dont like it, think about it… We all do it. Dont deny it. Athelets=jocks/preps Intelligent people= Nerds/Dorks/Freeks (sometimes.) so why dont we all just get used to it cause thats the way life is going to be.
Okay now on to what I was really going to write about.
When you live in a small town of 1500 people under the age of 21, you get alot of resentment when you are a minority of 20 or so people. It sucks but thats what happens.
Its fun going to the rink every Friday whether it be working there or whatever and have a few people come up to you and the very few amount of Goths and say that we’re going to hell…Its funny…I am so amused—only because I know, when I wake up in the morning and look in the mirror, I see me, not some fake sell-out poser prep…
Oh and being followed around when you go out is quite fun also.
This kid from my school was always like, I want to be a goth, I want to look cool. I took him out with me one day when I had stuff to do….I dotn think he wants to be gothic anymore. heh.. People see us and they do not realize that we go through alot of hell. We dont dress this way because it is cool (well some people do and its quite comfortable) They dont want all of the stuff that comes along with being Gothic. I mean. You lose friends, people look at you differently and you get rejected alot…
My father is not to sure he is okay with me being a goth. Only because it has caused alot of problems with my sister **coughcoughpreppycoughbitchcough** ahem. I say…Fuck her. If she doesnt like it then she can go to hell.
My mom is kinda glad I’m a goth only because she noticed a change in the way I behave I guess….she supports me (she is taking me to get my nose and eye brow pierced 😉 ) Yeah…So This should be intresting……I’ll keep ya posted!
