1. Satan represents indulgence, instead of abstinence!2. Satan represents vital existence, instead of spiritual pipe dreams.3. Satan represents undefiled wisdom, instead of hypocritical self-deciet.4. Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates!5. Satan represents vengeance, instead of turning the other cheek!6. Satan represents responsibility to the responsible, instead of concern for psychic vampires! 7. Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better, more often worse than those that walk on all-fours, who, because of his “divine spiritual and intellectual developement,” has become the most vicious animal of all!8. Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they all lead to physical, mental, or emotional gratification.9. Satan has been the best friend the church has ever had, as he has kept it in business all these years!

  2. I have to say that I agree with just about all these tenets, but with one reservation. Why Satan? Why not call it Chaos or Nature or at least something less ridiculous? Why choose a fictional character who was invented by the Christian Church? This is something I have always wondered about the Church of Satan. Perhaps you can shed some light on this for me.

  3. its what satan represents, i think satan was the easiest persona for AZL to associate his philosophy with because he represents everything the philosophy believes in and follows. also when someone says they are a satanist they cause quite a commotion with friends and the like, i did the same thing. but im not an expert so you cant say my answer is the right answer or that it represents the satanic community as a whole, just me.

    i dont like when people say things THEY THINK they know what there talking about, like one god loving person said to me Satan is Lucifer (my way of writing it 😛 ) but they say things they think they no becus they hear it in the fake book they call the bible (im not saying your telling a lie it is the real Nine Statements )
