The SAW Escape Room

I’ve never been in an “escape room,” but I’ve always thought they sounded like a lot of fun. They’re kinda expensive, though, unless you get a group together, and the one time I tried to get a group together it ended up being a big headache. (“I can do it on Tuesday but not Thursday.” “I can’t do Tuesdays.” “I can do any day except Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.”) Ugh. Next time I go to Las Vegas, though, I may have to shell out some sticky buns to try out the official SAW Escape Room. (Actually the “experience” is a maze comprised of several rooms.) It even has Jigsaw’s real voice narration, courtesy of actor Tobin Bell. And of course Billy the puppet puts in an appearance. They invested a lot of time and money to make this attraction look like several of the key sets from the SAW franchise, and paying to get locked up inside is the closest you can get to being a part of one of the movies (and certainly the closest you would ever WANT to get).

You can have your birthday party at the SAW Escape Room. Or your bachelor’s party. (???) Or make it a corporate team-building exercise. After all, Jigsaw LOVES yuppies.
