Selena screamed at the top of her lungs when she heard the something at the darker area of the alleyway. She then saw the reflection of the moonlight on someone’s sandy blonde hair.
She quickly put her hands over her my so she was not able to scream. Oh, my gosh! She thought that must be the killer! Cautiously she went over to the body. She then saw that the girl was already dead. Tears gently slide down her cheeks. She went out of the alleyway and sat on the side of the sidewalk. She gently sobbed and waited for the ambulance to arrive. Moments later, the ambulance arrived. They asked her if she was all right. She gulped, “I am alright. But, I think the girl in the alleyway is…” then she started to sob again. “Do you need a ride home?” asked one the ambulance drivers. “No.” she sniffed, “I’ll be alright.” “Alright…be careful then,” the driver then added, “The police will come by for an investigation.” “All right…”she asked quietly. The sound of the sirens gently faded into the night. She then took a deep breath and then started for home. That night she couldn’t sleep at all. She keep on having flashbacks. Then when she finally fell asleep she woke up soaked in cold sweat. Soon the night was over and Selena was so tired since she couldn’t sleep and went she did she wont have nightmares. The next morning she went downstairs to the kitchen. Her parents had already gone to work. She ate alone and then the doorbell rang. Who can it is this early in the morning? She wondered. She opened the door and there stood her best friend, Kate. They walked to the living room. “Oh, my gosh,” Kate said, “I just heard what happened on the news! Are you ok, Selena?” “Ya…” she answered,” just a little shocked. Then the doorbell rang again. “Wait here I’ll be right back…”she then rushed to get the door…
