Waiting….

Look at me as I wait
A journey through a life not so great
Look at my wrists, see the impression?
Scars of my most recent depression

See my throat and the line across?
Don’t try to hang yourself with dental floss
My life was utterly a misery
Only a few moments glowed with glee
Look at my face, see it so pale?
I know that one day, I will sail
Away from this chained misery
Away from Satan’s trickery
Away from the inhumanity of isolation
Away from this self-imprisonation
I will fly to the Heavens’ above
I will experience God’s True Love
But only if I can right this wrong
And for its answer I do long
Here I lie, dying away
The victim of the passing day
My time for completion ever decreasing
Already the opportunity lost is not pleasing
“What do I do to accomplish Your plan?”
But again, only silence greets this torn man.
